Marbella East represents the easternmost area of Marbella and covers an area of approximately 12 kilometres. It starts at Marbella’s welcome arch and extends to the edge of the municipality, where it borders Mijas Playa, specifically in the area known as Calahonda.

This area is near the centre of Marbella and is connected by the motorway to the other districts of the city. It is an interesting investment area as we will see in this post.

Marbella East: very quiet and with its own services

Overall, Marbella East is characterised as an area primarily focused on residential and holiday aspects, with a clear emphasis on connection with nature and the pursuit of tranquillity.

Although it offers exceptional shopping, fine dining, medical, sporting, nautical and educational facilities, its essence is geared towards those who wish to get away from the urban hustle and bustle in search of a more serene and tranquil environment.

Marbella East is the natural Eden of Marbella

This environment is also particularly suitable for families who value their children’s education in contact with the sea, green areas, and outdoor fun. For example, it has a large park, Aventura Amazonia, which includes zip wires, leafy trees, a restaurant area and swings.

In addition, for both young and old, there is the opportunity to take part in activities such as horse riding, tennis, paddle tennis, volleyball, and golf.

Some of Marbella’s top-quality schools are in the area, such as Colegio Alborán, Colegio Alemán or Las Chapas. Other schools in Marbella are not so close but offer a bus service in case you don’t live in the area. The best beaches in Marbella are in the East

We can tell that we are in Marbella East as soon as we cross the arch towards Malaga. First, we will notice that a faster stretch of road, the A7 motorway begins and we will see that the interurban section ends.

It is easy to see that the beaches are wider and that there is less building density, and, above all, it is noticeable that there is more tree cover. Marbella East is greener than the rest of Marbella and its beaches are the best in the municipality. Clear examples are Los Monteros and Cabopino beaches. In addition, it has wonderful Beach Clubs. The clubs we have selected in this other post are especially nice.
